Jay Prada And Capo Vercetti Run It Back With “Fetti”
Jay Prada is a young and exciting rapper out of Long Island who may be next up in the melodic rap scene. Currently, artists like Lil Tecca and A Boogie are at the forefront of this sub genre, which dominated SoundCloud for the last couple of years. As Prada continues to develop his sound and aesthetic, he and his team will increasingly become a force to be reckoned with.
Jay gives off great energy and creates exuberant tracks that make you want to dance. Consequently, Tiktok users did just that: creating dance routines and viral trends to his music. Prada’s single “Tropicana” saw the most engagement within the Tiktok community, subsequently becoming his biggest hit to date. Capo Vercetti, who features on the track, is a melodic rapper also from Long Island. He’s versatile and emanates the same great vibes as Prada. The two compliment each other very well.
After the success of “Tropicana,” the Long Island natives collaborated for a follow-up release, “Fetti.” The track resembles “Tropicana” with its tropical sounding melodies and punchy 808s. “Fetti” also has a similar arrangement as well, with Prada laying down the catchy hook and Capo on the verse. Together, the two have the potential to create massive waves within the music community, as they have begun to do so already.
