When Herb is not in the studio or on the road doing shows, he is in the gym tightening up his boxing skills. This discipline and dedication to progression and perfection are showcased in Herb’s unique song-making process; His music doesn’t sound like anyone else coming out of the Carolinas and his trap rock style meshes well with his harmonious and melodic delivery. His single “Need Me” is a total bop; he channels the energy of every young black brother from the hood who ain’t have nothing and all the girls overlooked but finally had their glow up as he sings, “She only calls when she needs me/if I was broke would you see me”. His emotional side shines through “Drown in my thoughts” which gives us a peek into the mind and heart of FN HERB for better and for worse. It’s a track oozing with raw feelings that fans of the “pain Rap” subgenre would definitely have on repeat.

FN HERB has already released his first single through Bentley Records; “Help” is a song of outreach and is something anyone suffering from substance abuse and depression should listen to. Its motivational undertones are expertly covered in the current sad emo rap sound you hear from artists like DC THE DON or Pierre Bourne. He is also hitting the stage for HOT 97 at a private event which will also feature Fetty Wap and other New York/New Jersey music heavyweights. If you want to keep up with all things FN HERB make sure you follow him on all platforms and social media and stay tuned because big things are on the horizon for the Young Rockstar.
