South Florida Rapper Yoppa Bam Delivers His Engaging New Video For, “LIVE EVIL”
Over the last 5 years or so, Southern Florida has fully established itself as a hotbed for Hip-Hop talent. Boasting artists like Kodak Black, XXXTENTACION, Smoke Purrp and more, the region has become known for its low-fi, bass heavy music that focuses on charisma, energy and painstakingly relatable rhymes. Another one of those names that has helped carry the flag is Yoppa Bam, who’s vitality has helped introduce artists like Purrp and Lil Pump. Looking to keep his momentum going, he checks into our pages with his new video for, “LIVE EVIL.”
Directed by Kirra World, the visuals for, “LIVE EVIL,” find Yoppa in Paris, hanging in front of the Eiffel Tower with a double cup in his hand, striking a jarring image. Utilizing choppy, yet engaging effects, the video does a brilliant job of complimenting the record, juxtaposing the effects with the bass-heavy production from, Nevermore. Setting the stage perfectly, Yoppa takes advantage as he showcases engaging energy and charism on the screen to go with his infectiousness on the record. With the year finally kicking into motion, “LIVE EVIL,” serves as a good bed of work to set the stage for the rest of 2023 for Yoppa.
