The Process shares engaging single, “My Soul”

Brooklyn artist The Process has shared a new single called “My Soul”, assisted by Renaissance X. Inspired by classic East Coast hip-hop, The Process began by writing poetry and random lines on notepads, until his friend and mentor Renaissance X approached him about turning my writing into music. Since then, he has released a series of soulful, lyrical offerings, with “My Soul” being the latest addition.

“My Soul” begins with rich backing vocals that pair with expansive guitars, giving the track a layered feel. Then, driving 808s drop in to give the song added energy, underscoring The Process’ vocals. His begins with some sharp hip-hop verses before he ramps up the ferocity into a punk-influenced refrain that provides raw power. An engaging offering that showcases The Process’ skill in combining genres, “My Soul” makes for a focused, lyrically inclined listen that remains dynamic throughout.

Overall, “My Soul” makes for a dynamic and exciting release from New York’s The Process and Renaissance X.
