Valid and Stretch Money share smoky visual for “The Girls”

Detroit mainstays Valid and Stretch Money have dropped off a new visual for their song “The Girls”. A highlight cut from their recent album Bill & Isiah, “The Girls” makes use of stylish, muted shots and nocturnal backdrops to capture “The Girls”‘ refined feel. Retro influences shine through on the song and video, and this release feels truly Detroit. From the rolling, bubbling basslines to the crisp percussion and sleek vocals, “The Girls”, produced by Pig Pen & DJ Jmac, captures the unique Detroit swagger. It’s great to see how hard these guys go to rep their city, and it is evident throughout their recent album Bill & Isiah.

The video for “The Girls”, directed by Jerry Reid & Slander King, is hazy and smooth, while presenting confident performances from the emcees that keep the viewer locked to the screen. Potent and sharply-crafted, “The Girls” is a testament to the duo’s focus, and like their record Bill & Isiah, a testament to their city of Detroit sonically and in its execution.
