JO$H LEE Returns With A Vengeance On New Single “Die Lee”
Palm Beach, Florida native JO$H LEE is back with another banger on his latest single “Die Lee”. The song, produced by Oddwin, incorporates booming 808s with a hard piano riff, and the young MC’s in-your-face flows fit perfectly over the beat.
According to LEE, the track was written from the point of view of his friends during the COVID-19 lockdown.
“The inspiration for the song comes from the pandemic where a lot of my friends were becoming ‘scammers’,” he said. “This song is written from their perspective.”
He also says that in addition to pushing out more songs, his next plans are to drop another music video by the end of the year and perform monthly at local shows in South Florida.
“This song is a part of a waterfall release strategy for an album that hasn’t been titled yet,” LEE explained. “My next release is going to come in literally two to three weeks.”
JO$H LEE is a very talented young rapper with a prolific workrate and versatile flows. He stands out amongst his counterparts with his South Florida style, and it won’t be long until his name is up there with the area’s best MCs like Rick Ross and Denzel Curry.
