San Diego Artist Aleister Releases New Album “A Sailors Demise”
In this new age of rap, it’s rare to hear new artists releasing music with actual meaning and purpose. Meet 26-year-old San Diego artist Aleister who just released his brand new album titled A Sailors Demise, that is bringing a new refreshing sound to the scene. Mixing rap and alternative rock, Aleister pours his heart out in each track over top of hard hitting rock production. A Sailors Demise, is a very dark project that details his military career. Six songs for each year that he has served. He details his PTSD and his troubling experiences in the military.
Aleister’s story is super inspiring. He started making music back in 2011 when he was a vocalist in a Deathcore band, and fell in love with the process. After the band broke-up, Aleister joined the Navy and has been serving for six years. During his off time, Aleister works on his craft, and covers deep topics like mental health, depression and his military life which you’ll hear in A Sailors Demise.
