Y2KRAZY Team Up With $QUIDNICE For New “Play 4 Keeps” EP
Y2KRAZY are an established producer duo composed of Cardiac and Y2KJalen from New York City. They’ve been in operation for 10 years, and have credits with some big names in the underground such as Mulaflare, Markabillion, WpNeph and more. This week, Y2KRAZY link up with Staten Island native $quidnice for new EP Play 4 Keeps and are making a huge impact on the east coast music scene. The EP is different compared to the main stream NYC drill songs that fans have heard from $quidnice in recent years, and is heavy with edgy lyricism carried by dark undertones and hard-hitting kicks.
On tracks like “Pitiful” $quidnice details the dark lifestyle of a hustler and comes in hot with his aggressive delivery while sending a spine-chilling message to his opps which is an overlying theme throughout the project. Overall this is probably the hardest EP I’ve covered in a minute. From the production, to the theme of each song, Play 4 Keeps is an incredible body of work and is a new refreshing sound coming out of New York right now.
