DMV Rapper Talent Shares New Single “I Pray”
The DMV is one of the most slept-on locations for rap and hip-hop. Every day new artists are emerging on the scene, and I gotta put you onto this new artist I just discovered that goes by the name Talent. Talent is an extremely versatile individual and started his music career back in church where he would sing in the church choir, which you can hear in his music. Dude has an insane voice. This would lead Talent to begin performing at local block parties and sparked the start of his musical career.
This week, Talent shared with us a brand new music video for his song “I Pray”, it starts off with a beautiful blues guitar sample, which is accented by Talent’s smooth vocal progressions and soft melodies. The music video showcases Talent posted up on the street panhandling as he highlights some of society’s issues, and questions people have through this “quest that we call life”.
