Who is Sig Carlito?
Evasive Ohio born rapper and super producer, Sig Carlito (also know as 16yrold) is taking the underground by storm. I’ve been listening to his music for a while now and I’m happy I have the opportunity to write this article and introduce new people to his music. Carlito seemingly created a cult following only after releasing his contagious Mariah/Obsessed tracks. Both tracks sample Mariah Carey’s 2009 smash hit Obsessed. Recently he released his first 3 track EP infrared. Featuring nostalgic mellow bangers like “V4RS1TY J4CK3T.” While his discography is short every song has infinite replay value. Carlito’s unique sound is fostered by his engineering and infectious bars.
