It’s never easy breaking through the void as a creative, but in 2023, it feels especially more difficult. Despite this, true artistry usually finds its’ way to cut through, resulting in the cream more often than not rising to the top. One of those artists is rising Las Vegas native, Shiloh5001, who’s spent the last two years firmly establishing himself as one of the top artists in the growing Las Vegas scene. Looking to further that claim, he checks into our pages for the first time with his new EP, Death of Me.

Clocking in at about 13-and-a-half minutes, Death of Me is an fun, exhilarating experience that finds Shiloh eagerly displaying his arsenal. Funneling different sounds from Hip-Hop, Metal and other engaging elements, the Sin City native does a brilliant job of meshing these together which results in something that sounds native to him. Songs like, “Hellfire,” and, “Sacrifice,” do a great job of highlighting his aforementioned versatility, as he provides unmatched energy on these records while still keeping his cadences free flowing and lyricism fully alert. The standout song, though, also doubles as the projects intro and shares it’s title name of, “Death of Me.” Introducing the project, Shiloh immediately sets the tone on this record before delving into all out madness over the impressive 5-track project.
