Bizzy Banks Ready to be Crowned the New “General of NY Drill”
With the mass influx of New York drill artists rising to the surface, the young Brooklynn native Bizzy Banks is coming for the crown. Making vast strides in the music scene late 2019 with the drop of the viral sensation “Don’t Start”, where the EBK rapper attacks the dark piano infused instrumental. Sending warning shots to the whole drill community, “Couple shooters be with me, call up black we go 50 for 50, ns spinning until we get dizzy, ns politicking talking bout Bizzy”
Jumping to 2020 Bizzy has blessed us with “Don’t Start PT 2”, picking up right where he left off. Bouncing off the walls with energy, PT 2 is one of the hardest drill tracks I’ve heard come out of New York. The song builds its street character through aggressive punchlines like, “Ion get that, you got shot in your ass and then made a diss track, pick up a gun and go get back, he tried to flex but it ripped through his six-pack.” The tough free flowing lyrics meshed with his anti-establishment persona make him to be one of the most interesting creatives coming out of New York. Every time you spin the track you’re going to feel like going 120 in your car while blasting out every single speaker!
