Anaheim Rapper DomTheKid Drops “Dog Food”, His First Video Of 2020.
This weekend, DomTheKid released “Dog Food”, the first single from his debut album, “Dommo”, and his first release of the calendar year.
DomTheKid can be seen turning up and menacingly spitting at the camera with some of the members of his 5150 collective, a collective of Orange County artists. Dom’s in his element in the “Dog Food” video, rapping shoulder to shoulder with fellow 5150 co-founder, Heera, and one of 5150’s most promising artists DoughSoOfficial, who has been locked up for the past few months after being apprehended on his way to a charity event.
Dom’s voice is greatly unique and his punchlines always hit as showcased in Dog Food. Dom can be heard boasting about his lifestyle as a rapper with bars like:
“10 bands ain’t shit when you get it off that dog food,
I ain’t goin to the club unless they pay me for the walk through.”
Although this is his first release of 2020, DomTheKid has plans to add to his impressive catalog of solo songs and collaborative bangers in 2021. Be on the lookout for “Dommo”, releasing this January and watch the “Dog Food” video, directed by SoCal videographer JCams, below.
