Pomona-raised rapper BG Fa$t makes things look easy. He started his music career in 2017 with goals, dreams, and a passion for the craft. Now, with a collection of work under his belt, a number of collaborations (including the likes of Doggystyleeee and Drakeo The Ruler), and more music on the way, it’s clear that BG Fa$t’s work and skills know no boundaries. He even has a published book and film adaptation on the way. Driven by his goals to reach the top of his game and rise above the negativity, BG Fa$t is growing, and growing fast. 

Despite the great strides BG Fa$t has made in his career and craft, he remembers to acknowledge and honor his roots, including his sources of inspiration and where he came from. Growing up on 2Pac, Eminem, TI, and Lil Wayne, the California-based artist knows that words hold power. Music and words can propel and advance people’s lives. As someone who has dealt with his fair share of obstacles, BG Fa$t knows that persistence and perseverance are the keys to his current and future success. Now and in the coming future, the artist wants to give back, and emphasizes the importance of doing so. “It’s been times when I was struggling and all I needed was a little push to stop me from doing something desperate,” he reflects. “Small things can change someone’s life. When I was in prison, you would be amazed to find out what something as small as a pencil and paper donation could do for me.” 

A few years later and the endless possibilities a pencil and paper can bring have brought BG Fa$t far, his words and work spanning lengths and media. Committed to authentic storytelling, BG Fa$t is an artist to look out for. Coupled with his unique style, diverse flow, and multitude of skills, the only way he’s going is up.
