Memphis Rapper IME Casino Drops Off His Emphatic New Video For, “I’m a Don”
Though Memphis has always been known for churning out hits, the last decade has saw the rise of a new generation of torch bearers. Among those names to sprout up in the last few years is Moneybagg Yo, who’s started to usher in a new wave of artists under him as well through his record label, Bread Gang. Hailing from Memphis himself, recent Bread Gang signee IME Casino is one of those artists and has built a buzz through exciting guest verses and engaging singles. Looking to take things up a notch, he checks in with his new video for, “I’m a Don.”
Set to the backdrop of palm trees, festive clubs and apartment kitchens, “I’m a Don,” is a diverse, engaging visual. Shifting through different settings, the video does a great job of complimenting IME Casino’s rhymes as he moves through the city with a comfortable swagger that’s fitting of the name of the record. Showcasing charisma the whole time, Casino keeps the viewers attention with elastic flows and fun, ironic moments like when he’s carrying stacks of money in what look to be bags meant for loaves of bread.
In all, “I’m a Don,” is both a great introduction for new fans, while also serving as a great release for existing ones. Take a look at the visual below and get familiar with IME Casino.
