Meet MIK’EL: Making Moves and Shaking Up The R&B Scene
MIK’EL is a rising R&B singer/ songwriter born and raised in New Jersey. As a young kid, MIK’EL found music as an outlet. Coming from a church influenced family, gospel music was his first introduction to music. MIK’EL began making beats and DJing remixes of songs on YouTube and SoundCloud. From making beats at his parents home to becoming a singer-songwriter who has left the nest and for the last few years has been making waves as his fan base continues to grow.
Some people may not know, but MIK’EL began his songwriting career co-writing songs that would feature LA rapper AD, songs produced by Menace (producer of Desiigner’s “Panda”), rapper Wes Walker, and working closely beside songwriter Choyce Cincere. And naturally this would lead to MIK’EL to releasing his record “I Got It” produced by Party Michael. One artist that comes to mind when you think of MIK’EL’s influence is Chris Brown. The R&B singer explained, “without Breezy’s music I wouldn’t be here.”
Despite having a true passion for music and dreaming of making his own path, he used to always allowed his fears to hold him back. But that is no longer the case as MIK’EL plans on making further moves in music and showing the world what he is really capable of.
