Port St. Lucie, Florida native Ainjo is bringing her sultry sound back to the airwaves with the release of her latest single “Curious.”  The five-year music veteran, who is currently on active duty in the military right now (thank you for your service, Ainjo) is working hard in many ways to move up in many different aspects of her life, from her service life to her music life and even her love life.

“[The song] was inspired by a woman!” said Ainjo.  “There was a new girl at the hospital I worked at and she was so beautiful…I was very interested in her but I didn’t know if she was interested back.”

If you think you’re busy, then compare your schedule to Ainjo.  In addition to her military service, she will be performing in New York City at Sounds of Brazil and is even throwing a release day party brunch to celebrate the release of “Curious.”  What’s more, she’s even planning on throwing three more release parties this year for each of her planned singles.  It would be an understatement to say that she’s got a lot going on, but she’s more than capable of accomplishing all her goals.  And while she’s got a lot going on currently, she doesn’t plan on slowing down in the near future.

“I plan on putting out four songs this year and I’m working on my debut album,” said Ainjo.  “A lot of visuals and performances this year [too], it’s going to be beautiful.”

Simply put, if you are a fan of R&B, you have to get hip to Ainjo.  Her sonic style is reminiscent of that of Ari Lennox, Teyana Taylor and H.E.R., which puts her in the upper echelon of R&B artists that you haven’t heard of yet, but are soon to be in tune with.  She’s done with active military duty in a year, but her service to the music industry is only just beginning.
