Sixteen-year-old Rap Phenom Snappo TG Drops His Debut Mixtape “Forever Up”

Taking the Albany scene by storm with his underground FB challenges, Snappo TG is known for effortlessly creating melodic earworms that’ll be stuck in your head for days. He’s back to do even more damage with his debut mixtape, “Forever Up”. We got our first glimpse of the project with lead single “D + G”, coming in the form of an eye grabbing WildMoneyVisual. The young creative delivers lyrical content about fake relationships and everyday tribulations he’s gotta go through to help put his family and team on.

Snappo Intros the album with “Dedicated” taking a more introspective approach, the first lyrics on the track being, “Dedicated to myself so I won’t change, lost my heart when I was young you don’t know pain.” The young NY rapper keys in on wanting to keep his values + morals solid, his main goals, making in out his poverty ridden city and running up a check for his family. The entire tape is produced by in house producer Duce Bigalow, the underground NY producer cultivates beats ranging from intense guitar ridden melodies to piano + bass heavy, “Jetson” type beats, the seventeen-year-old is responsible for mass hits to come out the region.

One of my favorite tracks comes in the form of “Double Cup”, following the intro, the Albany creative delivers an energizing track that you can toss on at any party, function or car ride. Fully conveying his raw energy and passion, simultaneously throwing lyrical punchlines that’ll get you in your bag! On “HI TEK” is where we see Snappo connect with fellow “zoe” rapper and lifelong friend Khy Glo, the two attack the bright horn melody, meshed with rapid hi-hats. The two fully embracing their youth, jumping throughout the track with energy while throwing their fair share of designer heavy punchlines.

Overall the debut mixtape “Forever Up” is a perfect picture into the mind behind the energetic 16-year old` rapper Snappo TG. From tracks about personal growth and fake relationships, to turnt tracks that’ll leave everyone in the function jumping. It’s clear this is not the last time we’ll hear about the young Albany work horse!! More from Snappo:
