Hartford Music Video Director Juan Burgos Is Making A Global Impact
Growing up in a drug infested neighbourhood in the north side of Hartford, Connecticut rising videographer Juan Burgos is a 23-year-old creator who has defied the odds growing up in life. Dodging trouble while finding unique ways to make money and survive in an impoverished town. After discovering his passion for filming during his Sophomore year of high-school, Juan was in a difficult position knowing the expensive price of camera gear. So he would eventually take up 3 part-time jobs to afford his first camera and lens. After saving up enough money to buy his first camera and lens, Juan immediately quit his jobs to pursue his passion for film-making, and like that JOAKFILMS was born! (Juan Of A Kind Films)
Things truly began to fall into place for Juan in 2019 when he first started filming festivals/concerts capturing images of artists like Stunna 4 Vegas, Lil Loaded, King Von and Polo G. This would be the groundwork Juan put in to get noticed by Chicago phenom Lil Eazzyy, which ultimately would lead to one of the biggest debut singles of 2020 with “Onna Come Up”.
Juan Burgos, is proof that no matter where you come from. There is always light at the end of the tunnel, as long as you put the work in. No matter where you’re at in life, you could be one step-away from achieving your goals!
