Shane’s Selections, Volume 7 : Birkenstocks Or Crocs?

Summer footwear let’s talk about it, I hate getting political online but I need to make a statement. When it comes down to it, I’m picking Birkenstocks over Crocs, easy. So what if Crocs have more shock absorbency, I’m still not rocking them. Keep those SpongeBob ass looking shoes away from me. All jokes aside, no matter what side of the footwear war you find yourself on. We can all meet in the middle when it comes to these tunes in Volume 7. All bangers, all hit, all have their own unique sound. Most of these artists are about to pop off, so why not get in early and have those bragging rights!

Buppy comfort, texas

Continuing his glow-up and gearing up for his EP release, Buppy is back with his newest single “comfort, texas”. I’ve covered Buppy in the past, but his growth in the last year is absolutely wild, there’s no denying he’s put the work in. I love this new record from Bup, you can really tell he is finding his lane musically, fusing Alternative, Pop, and Rap to create his own genre. Definitely tap in, kids on fire!

Elz BentleyPaper Towels

I feel like Kentucky has been having a moment these past few years, producing some absolutely crazy talent such as Bryson Tiller, Jack Harlow, The Homies, and now Elz Bentley is out here shining & making waves. Recently releasing visuals for his cut “Paper Towles” directed by another Kentucky star Trapsteve. In only 8 days, the video has already amassed over 50k views! Start to finish the visual is a masterpiece, perfectly capturing the concept and energy behind the record. This song serves as a reminder, no matter what you always have to go back to the basics, aka Paper Towels! Be sure to check of Mr. Bentley and the rest of his catalog.

Heath240BABY BLUES…

Finally the return of the very talented Heath240. After taking some time off, Heath comes in hot with his new single “BABY BLUES…”. As always this cut is a certified bopper, very infectious and way better than anything they’ve been playing on the radio. This rollout comes with some spicy visuals from Aleksa Samardzic, Pavel Gazdyuk, & Josh Schuback who also produced and mixed this record. My only complaint about the visual is Heath’s choice of cigarette. Other than that 10/10, I’m really happy to see Mr. 240 back in the music swing. This guy is making hits, don’t believe me? Find out for yourself!

Geller Always Waiting

Talk about true talent, there’s really no one doing it like Geller. This guys music IQ is no joke, this newest release “Always Waiting” is a true testament to just that. This record has been teased for a month or so, and it’s been living rent free in my head. Super stoked it’s out, so I could finally listen to the cut in its entirety. Also the canvas, literally goes so fucking hard! I can’t stress it enough go check Geller out he’s about to be HUGE!

SandmanMake It Easy

Our favorite Canadian Mr. Nice Guy, Sandman is back with his first solo single of 2023 “Make It Easy”. Per usual hits only from Sandman, after all this time off between releases I can only imagine the vault of tunes he’s built up. This new record gives us that old sound of his, but with some new flair in the production. A love song always hits different when it’s coming from Sandman. Be sure to check and stream the fuck out of “Make It Easy”
