Sky Is The Limit For Young Yousef, New Single “TRIALS” Out Now
Young Yousef is a raw vocalist who stays true to himself and his surroundings. In a tough city like Malden, MA people can easily spot when someones a pretender. It’s refreshing to listen to someone who has their own unique style, and knows how to portray it well. He has early OVO sounds to him and with the right production team around Yousef, the sky is the limit. 2021 was a busy year for Young Yousef. He racked up features, came out with a 3 part music video series “December In Linden” which gives you a good feel for who he is and where he comes from. My favorite from 2021 is “an Ode to Inspiration.” This song really flexes his vocals and also shows off his lyricism too. One lyric that stuck with me was “I’d rather be dead than misunderstood.” I’m excited for what’s coming for Young Yousef. His new song & video for “TRIALS” premiered the other day. The video consists of some beautiful shots of Boston, especially of the Zakim bridge. There was a UK reaction video to his song and he had glowing reviews, comparing his vocals to “a Justin Bieber that smokes.” I can see his vocals taking him far in the industry.
