Houston-based rising artist ITSTANR started making music in 2016, when he was only 14. Ushering in the new year with his first release, ITSTANR drops off his latest single, ‘Me vs Me.’ “The song is about how it’s only you versus yourself in this world. You need to be focused on you and your people and that’s it. Lock in, focus on yourself and the family,” says ITSTANR on the meaning behind the song. Over a hard-hitting beat, ITSTANR tells it like it is. It’s ITSTANR versus ITSTANR; he’s his only competition and he knows the only one standing in his way is himself. He has to get out of his own way if he’s to become successful in the music industry like he’s always dreamed of.
