flwless Embarks on a New Sonic Journey
flwless is no stranger to music. His path towards musicianship started in the early years of preschool, writing and coming up with flows while his classmates were preoccupied with drinking juice boxes and eating baby carrots. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, flwless grew up listening to hometown legends like Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, and Jimmy Wopo; a local Pittsburgh Musician. “I sort of stopped writing music for a while to work on other art forms such as drawing and painting but then started to take my music seriously around the age of 15” says flwless. After receiving an invitation to Wiz Khalifa’s studio in Pittsburgh (I.D. Labs,) his inspiration and creativity had been sparked. He recorded a few singles and instantly fell back in love with music. Gaining a new respect and admiration for the music making process, flwless was able to stay super consistent with releases.
Eager to prove to himself and the world that he was always meant to be a musician – he just needed a bit of inspiration to push him in the right direction – he made the wise decision of moving to Sarasota, FL in 2021. “I feel that when I moved it changed my perspective on music even more and taught me stuff that I hadn’t known before. It also introduced me to more rock/indie-rock music.” With new changes, a new attitude, and an entirely new perspective, flwless was willing to take his career as a musician to the next level. With influences such as Pink Floyd, The Beatles, & Mac DeMarco, flwless was ready to embark on a new creative journey that would hopefully provide him with better opportunities for breaking through the music industry. He has finally released his long-awaited project “Cultivating Wisdom,” as a stepping stone into a different sonic experience for both him and his supporters. “I am very excited to show my project “Cultivating Wisdom” as it means so much to me and I feel is a reflection on my growth as an artist, says flwless.” Cultivating Wisdom is a psychedelic rock/experimental project that is very different from his previous style but flwless wants his listeners to be able to feel euphoric and transcend into a another state of mind, a peaceful one. It’s a new sonic direction for flwless but he is ready to make the leap towards a brighter and more authentic artistic future. Are you ready to join him?
