asianblonde. is Music’s Most Exciting New Duo

asianblonde. is a music duo from United Kingdom, London on a mission to bring creative songwriting, bouncy production, and simply fun and excitement back to the music industry. To understand both Will and Ed’s journey and commitment to asianblonde., we first have to spend time getting familiar with each of them.

Will started his musical journey from an early age, learning to play the piano at age 7, while also teaching himself how to play the guitar at age 15. He learned how to produce during the pandemic and eventually started to branch out and work with artists after being noticed by emerging artist nimstarr. This newfound relationship led him to working and networking with more established artists like riovaz, jaydes, tsuyunoshi, jayya, cybertrash, vaeo and now is currently working with bixby and starfall. He also is a frequent collaborator of joshwa.

Ed also began making music from a very young age and pursued music throughout high school. He learned how to play the guitar and piano from an early age and eventually decided to leave his passion for football to follow his dream of becoming a musician. Under his band crusade, he would release singles recorded on his ipad using an irig. Ed also learned how to fully produce during the pandemic.

Both Will and Ed attended LIPA sixth form college. After meeting, they instantly connected over their shared love for music. They saw eye-to-eye from the jump with where they wanted to take their music careers. They finally decided to commit to asianblonde. when they were given the chance to submit an ep that was fully produced and recorded by them as their final project in college. Realizing that their chemistry was unmatched, they decided to release ‘options’ as their first official release under asianblonde. They understood that their potential as a duo was far greater than a college project. Having similar starts in music and a passion for not only being the artist but producing the music as well, it was a no brainer that Will and Ed should join forces and become what we now know as asianblonde.

Music’s interesting new duo is here today with their latest single ‘slow down.’ The 3 in a half minute track was a product of the fun and enjoyable experiences Will and Ed had while making the song with Jacob Bayley, an old friend from the university that both Will and Ed attended. The duo felt this was the perfect opportunity for Jacob to hopefully gain some attention on his name, since this would be his first official release. The song captures how much fun Will and Ed had while making the song together, having made it in Will’s university accommodation with just a laptop, guitar, and microphone. The song is carefree and a great example of how quality music can be made anywhere, as long as you’re having fun throughout the process.

Stream ‘slow down’ out now across all streaming platforms and be sure to lookout for their next release dropping on January 20th!
