Terry Presume Wakes Everyone Up With “What Box”
This album was a pleasant listen and made me think of older styles of music. It still gives off a hint of the Alternative Pop but a few songs made me think of Earth, Wind and Fire but if they were in the current generation of music we have today. This is an artist that keeps himself out of the box, thinking of new approaches to the endless room music has to offer. With this 6 song ep he doesn’t have a song that is similar sounding, a song where you want to sit on a front porch watching the night stars, letting the transition of the album create the energy of your night.
The emotion this artist really shows within the songs on this EP, what I love that Terry does with this project he makes it a story to tell to his fans. After having the growth he has had, it is something the fans need to hear. With his style of music similar fans from Jean Dawson would love the artistic skill Terry has. As the album was released a little while ago, it makes me wonder what will be next for him, all I know is that whatever he drops next will be something special.
