Orange County Rapper Shir Drops New EP “NINETEEN88”
“Start from the ground, build it up, then watch it blossom” – Shir
Shir is an upcoming rapper from Orange County, California who draws inspiration from today’s greats. You can hear the similarities between Shir and Travis Scott almost immediately, from their delivery, and experimental nature in the production, Shir’s talent is undeniable. Shir began his career like most artists, with a cracked version of Logic Pro and one random studio session with some friends that would forever change the course of his life. He’s now been making music for over 5 years, and is now just finding his lane and audience in the music industry.
This week, Shir dropped a brand new EP titled NINETEEN88 that is 7 tracks in length, which explores new futuristic production and displays his lyrical dexterity on every track. After taking the night to digest the full project, I kept coming back to the song “R2D2” which comes in with hard hitting kicks, and a beat that will have you bobbing your head immediately. He details his endless pursuit to the money, and how he’s become the boss that he is today.
Overall, I loved the project and I’m sure you guys will as well. I’ll attach links to the project and add his social media handles below, so make sure you guys support Orange County’s next top prospect! Thanks for reading!
