Houston artist Sheen releases new album “Vintage ’94”
Coming out of Houston this week is RnB based artist Sheen with his brand new album titled “Vintage ’94”. It dropped on Friday, so I’ve had the night to digest the project from top to bottom, so let’s talk about it. The album spans 12 tracks in length, and I was immediately blown away by the purity of his voice and his versatility from track to track. From slower RnB vibes, to tracks you can spin in the club. Sheen has it all in the bag, and his talent is undeniable.
My favorite track on the project so far has gotta be “Fashion Week”, when I first played it, it reminded me of when I first heard The Weeknd, and brought me back to my days of scheming in the nightclubs. I will definitely be adding this one to my party playlists. Another track that caught my ear, was “Think About U”, he opens up with a beautiful intro chorus, and when the beat drops flexes his bars, the perfect mix of RnB and Hip-Hop. Very Impressive.
Compared to everything else coming out of Houston at the moment, Sheen is in a lane of his own right now. I’m excited to see what the future holds for Sheen. Once this album hits the masses and the industry A&R’s it’s up! Check out “Vintage ’94” below, and let me know what your favorite songs are!
