Rosco P’s Project ‘D.R.U.G’s Drops Tomorrow
High energy performer Rosco P will soon be releasing an EP produced by Pianogotkeys called ‘D.R.U.G’s’ (Dear Rager’s Ur Gods).
The EP will have five songs that cover five different vibes, all of which true ragers will instantly crave, he said.
“I’m showcasing full vocal range on this project whereas in previous projects I’ve been a bit more reserved. It features Lil Jairmy who’s currently a rising name out of Houston TX that is signed to 4PF,” he said.
Rosco P describes his music as Alternative Trap meets Punk Rock. His style of music combined with witty cadences to keep the ear in a constant state of shock is what makes him different from other performers, according to Rosco P.
“When I hit the stage there are no breaks. We are jumping from start to finish and we’re sweating out our outfits. It’s a perfect sound for all ethnicities,” he said.
The artist is currently independent and is looking forward to begin touring again and traveling with a larger act.

Where does your musical inspiration derive from?
I was born into a family of musicians. My Uncle was/is a professional Jazz musician so I’d always listen to stories about his weekend gigs as a child at Sunday dinners. From there I ventured off into hip hop where I got my roots and I began to cultivate my own sound from there based on influences such as Travis Scott, The Weeknd, and etc.
What are some of your favorite highlights/memories that you have from being in the industry?
Some of my favorite moments are honestly creating in the studio and knowing that something bigger was on the horizon. Oftentimes while creating, things weren’t always the best whether that may have been financially, emotionally, or whatever the case may have been. However, we knew that it was all going to work itself out. Some of my other favorite moments would be performing in front of the larger festival crowds and building genuine crowd engagement.
Who have you worked with & who would you like to work with next?
I’ve worked with Molly Brazy, Baby’s World, Lil Jairmy, Loudiene, Loso Loaded, Kodie Shane, Waka Flocka, Big Sean, and A$AP Rocky. I’d like to work with The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Don Tolliver, Swae Lee, The Migos, Lil Yachty, Trippie Redd, and Saint John.
What community events have you contributed to/in?
I contributed to 96.5’s back-to-school backpack giveaway where I served kids and parents food, distributed school supplies to kids, and played basketball with kids during my time there. I also spoke at an Anti-Bullying Rally in front of multiple school districts. I also was the subject matter for an audial visual project for Central Michigan University.
What advice do you have to youth who want to pursue a career in music?
I’d tell them to understand that this is a very unfair sport that they play in but no matter what the circumstance may be “Hard work beats talent when talent stops working.” Never quit if you really want this because the rewards will be abundant and so will the grief on the road to getting where they want to go.
