Rising Vegas Native 88n8 Unveils His Intriguing New Project, ‘On My Momma’

Over the last few years, rising Las Vegas rapper 88n8 has been gradually establishing himself as a notable voice in the growing Vegas scene. Separating himself from the pack due to his consistency and genuine ability to relate with the listener, he’s starting to build a bit of momentum that should propel him to a good start to 2023. Further establishing that notion, he drops off his engaging new project, On My Momma, just before the year ends.

At 7-tracks, On My Momma is a poignant, empathetic project that finds 88n8 getting reflective for most of the project. Touching on topics such as faith, family, love and obviously his mother, he spends the 25-minute runtime holding nothing back as he gets some feelings off his chest. Records like, “Endless (Therapy),” and, “All On The Line,” embody that self-reflection while he rounds out the project with more accessible songs like, “I Got It 4U,” and, “Gotham.” Serving as the standout record of the project, “Gotham,” finds the Vegas native putting everything together and delivering one of his best performances to date.

Listen to the project below and get familiar with 88n8.
