Promising Rising Artist, Fran Morr Releases Visual Album Everyday is Wednesday except Friday and Saturday directed by James Gappa
Directed by Long Island-based filmmaker James Gappa, the visual album by Fran Morr, Everyday is Wednesday except Friday and Saturday has made it on screen. The fourteen music videos layer between scenes that tie into the sentiment of finding yourself. With only a week consisting of long hours and hard work, the duo cooked up beautiful scenery to accompany the album.
Morr’s conical influence really helps paint the pictures Gappa captures in these videos. The interwoven scenes lace the story as each track ends coming full circle in the final track “You remind me of myself”. As the movie portrays a man in the mirror scene. Morr faces himself in the mirror as he’s staring at glimpses of his former self.
Gappa uses interesting cinematography in many of the tracks and it really lends to Morr’s personality captured in each video. “Plastic” captures the feel beautifully with the off-kilter camera shots and excellent light use with its clever capture of color while “Every day” utilizes the best of its location using great lighting and symmetry while using passersby as an excellent transition. The movie captures the album beautifully and really adds the ultimate layer to its listening experience. I think fans will enjoy all the music videos tied together.
We hope to see more from this duo both musically and visually. Check out all their socials linked down below.
