18-year-old Philadelphia rapper Kai Benji began writing music at the young age of five, but truly began to take things seriously in high-school around grade 9 (2019), with the goal of creating something new and unique. This would lead Kai to releasing his first EP titled “A List Of My Regrets”, which was inspired by his late cousin Reese who was murdered by a police officer and shot 15 times. Kai really pours his heart out in this 8 track project, for example on tracks like “Die Tonight”, which detail all of the challenges he has faced in life while chasing his dreams.

All though we may be late to the party with the video for “Heard Of Us (Shot By: @visualsbyluke_) which originally premiered in August of 2020. Kai Benji demonstrates why he’s about to take over the industry with this release. His image matched with his undeniable talent create the perfect recipe for Philadelphia’s next superstar.
