OGPD Announces Highly Anticipated Project “MPR” Is Coming Soon
“Stay True to Yourself” rapper OGPD has announced his latest album, ‘MPR’ will be dropping soon. Buzz has been strong, given the success of OGPD’s prior album “1050” dropped in January, including the hits “Dolce Gabbana,” “Whenever,” and “Flooded.”
Originally from the Bronx, OGPD’s inspiration comes from his father, an influential DJ in the mid-90s, first in the family’s hometown and later in New York proper. The artist, currently based in Atlanta, started as a sound technician, experimenting since 2010 with the “vibey” sound that eventually led to his first creative release in 2018.
Asked about the impression he hopes to create, OGPD answers, “I would say my image is “a fly Caribbean New Yorker from the Bronx with down south ties.”
Asked about the goal of his music, the artist replied he wants to “motivate all people to not only dance and feel good but also to go out and get it.”
The artist and his team hope that ‘MPR’ will be as successful as ‘1050,’ which has proven to be massively popular on YouTube. Asked about his long-term goals, OGPD answers tongue-in-cheek that he wants to be a “rich mogul,” concentrating on his artistic career and interests in movies, real estate, and apparel.
