Miracle King Turns Up In “Contrary Wise” Music Video
Las Vegas-native Miracle King is staking her claim as the next up-and-coming female MC in the bop-worthy video for her new single “Contrary Wise.”
Shot and directed by visuals luminary Louie Knows, the video for “Contrary Wise” is littered with eye-popping special FX and highlights Miracle’s one-of-a-kind aura that shines brighter than her duo-tone pastel hairstyle. Part of Miracle’s appeal are her thought-provoking lyrics that embody tenacity, style and poise, as she raps on the hook, “You want me to die for you but you won’t die for me/Where is your loyalty?”
Though Miracle’s sound lends its ear to the more popular, melodic trends of the current landscape on Hip Hop, the teen says she draws much of her inspiration to rap is derived from her admiration of the legends that came generations before her time. In fact, 2Pac is her favorite rapper and she credits his classic “Hail Mary” as the single driving factor behind her decision to begin he musical journey.
