Lil Durk & Cole Bennett Pay Homage To Kanye With “Kanye Krazy” Video
Lil Durk’s 2020 was the biggest year of his career yet. With his own singles and project “The Voice” along with his standout feature on Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later”. He hasn’t let the new year stop his hot streak with him releasing the deluxe version of his album with a new music video for “Kanye Krazy”.
The music video is directed by hip hop’s young music mogul and director Cole Bennett and is a very special one for Chicago natives as the whole video serves as an homage to Chicago legend Kanye West. The video features Durkio and Cole recreating famous Kanye videos and moments such as Runaway, Bound 2, Stronger, I Love it, and his infamous Sway In The Morning interview. There’s so many other amazing Kanye moments in the video we can’t name them all and that just shows Cole’s attention to detail. It’s only fitting as Durk has recently fell into the role of a face of Chicago in the mainstream. Durk lays out all his thoughts over the piano driven Tahj Money-produced track. The songs lyrics reflect how his recent gains and losses have him feeling as crazy as people seem to think Kanye is. It’s definitely one of Durk’s most sincere and honest tracks.
It seems like Lil Durk can only go up from here and we’re excited to see how he manages to keep it going in 2021. What did you think of Durk and Cole’s new video? Did you catch all the references? Check it out and let us know!
