Las Vegas Native, Kiari Stone Returns With His Soulful New Single, “Peace & Love”
Prior to the pandemic, rising Las Vegas artist Kiari Stone was unequivocally one of the flag bearers for the ascending Las Vegas Hip-Hop scene. Though he stayed in the spotlight through guest features and a couple of well-received singles, the Industry Plant Media frontman hasn’t released a body of work since his early 2020 album, Must Be God, leaving a void for his fans. Looking to get back into the forefront of the discussion, he returns with his new single, “Peace & Love.”
Serving as the lead single for his upcoming album, Black Jesus, “Peace & Love,” is an engaging single that finds Stone toning down the aggression and opting for more of a poignant approach. Touching on topics that range from family, religion, love and more, Stone sounds absolutely at home over the soulful production as he slices through the self-produced beat with ease. As mentioned, one of the more notable things about the record is the transition in content from his previous releases. Lines like, “To the Lord I bare my soul, I bare my every sin. Hope he recognize that I’m his son and I’m only man,” serve as a great preview to the content we can expect on something titled, Black Jesus, while lines like, “I put time into these goals, that’s my only plan, and my girl don’t talk to a soul, I’m her OnlyFan,” do a wonderful job of reminding people of Stone’s notorious pen.
In all, “Peace & Love,” is a solid lead single for what is sure to be a engaging roll out leading up to the release of Black Jesus, which is yet to receive a release date. Be sure to listen to the single below and get familiar with Kiari Stone.
