Introducing Mississippi’s Finest Rapper O.T.3.
Rapper and songwriter O.T.3. has enough bars for anyone to enjoy. His artist name is a play off his actual name Obie Threadford, and the rap scene just added another intriguing member. Very gifted lyrically and someone who embodies the true essence of being a rapper, the Meridian city native has begun to turn heads in the music industry.
The first song that O.T.3. heard that made him fall in love with music was Dr. Dre featuring Eminem’s hit song “Forgot About Dre”. Ever since then, he’s been hooked on the world of hip hop. Growing up in the south, the artist was one of 3 children born into a caring family that raised him into the man he is today. The budding rap star was raised to work hard and his parents instilled in him the importance of being a successful man. Music became that platform where O.T.3. would display his true strengths.
O.T.3. has put a lot of time and dedication into his craft, and the 20 year old rising star has earned some awards to show for it. The lyrical beast took home first place two times in a row at Atlanta’s Bars is Back competition hosted by Carlos Brown and he’s also won first place in a listening session with Atlanta rapper Jose Guapo.
O.T.3. has already put his talents to the test and topped some of the industry’s best. The independent act plans to continue improving his authentic sound and signature style as labels come calling.
