How Artist Marcus Antonio Is Making a Name for Himself

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, artist Marcus Antionio always knew he had a gift–it was pretty hard for this budding creative visionary to avoid a music career. Ever since he could remember, he was surrounded and influenced by musical legends like his father, Mark “Dragon” Williams, Bob Marley, and Shaggy.

Marcus always had a deep passion for music, and quickly developed a unique style that differentiates himself from other Caribbean artists. From his natural ability to play a number of instruments including the drums and the keyboard, along with a ferocious and eclectic palette, Marcus has crafted a sonic sound all of his own.

Finding inspiration from a variety of genres like Caribbean, R&B, country, and pop, Marcus has come a long way from his beginnings when he was better known as “Young Marky”. He knew early on that he wanted to escape his father’s name and create his own legacy, so he has always built his career on his own terms since he was 13.

Always driven by his work ethic and perseverance, artist Marcus Antonio follows the adage: “If at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again”. He shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, and you can hear more from Marcus Antonio and stay up-to-date on his latest projects by checking him out at the following links:
