Hardworking MC Chuck Die$el Shares Background On New Single “Frozen”
Chuck Die$el has been working hard behind the scenes on his music career, and he is poised to blow up with his new single “Frozen”. The single, produced by Avanto, is the first of a string of releases from the MC, who is scheduled to drop again in November and January.
The Wooster, Ohio native packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has made a great impact on his life and the direction of his music.
“On one hand, things are going better than I had planned out, [but] they still aren’t what they may seem from the outside,” he said. “Every good thing has its difficulties.”
Die$el entered his first freestyle battle at the age of ten and started writing and freestyling regularly by 13 years old. Fast forward to the present and he still has the same level of commitment, and it seems that his hard work is starting to pay off.
“To a lot of people where I’m from, I’ve made it far,” said Die$el. “I left home, went to college, and I’m doing what I love to do.”
As for the track itself, Die$el’s lyrics aim to give a voice to those who feel lonely, as well as remind his listeners to keep striving and that things will work out.
“As a Black man, no matter how far you’ve come, there’s still so much further to go,” he explained. “Because fortunately or unfortunately, we represent each other…I want [people] to know there’s no limit to how far Black excellence can extend.”
The MC’s next moves are to boost his views and schedule release dates for both songs and music videos. He is also on the Encore app where he does virtual events and is planning a virtual listening party for his upcoming EP. If you don’t catch him now, you’ll be sure to see his name at the top of the charts soon enough.
