Green Thumb Zeph Goes Crazy In New EP “Poor Soul”

Coming out of Newport News, Virginia this week is upcoming rapper Green Thumb Zeph. The vibe on his new EP Poor Soul is unlike anything else coming out at the moment, and it caught my attention the moment I heard the first track. The project spans 5-tracks in length and is filled with aggressive 808’s, which is complimented by Zeph’s low tone raspy voice. My favorite track on the project is “HELP, GUIDANCE” because in my opinion it really shows how Zeph can string together meaningful lyricism and that he’s not just any typical artist. He details wanting to track down someone he refers to as “parasite”, “a leech without an appetite”, “a coward in the sunlight”, all while asking for guidance to find him. If this is a real life situation I don’t know… All I know is I would not want to f**k with Green Thumb Zeph. Stream “Poor Soul” the EP, below and let us know what you think!
