33STATIC is a god damn rockstar. Being in this business I’ve met thousands of rappers and the one thing I have to say is most of them are lazy. What’s crazy about 33STATIC is even though he’s only 19 years old, he’s the hardest working man in hip-hop right now.

When I first started with Loading Magazine, it was because I wanted to get JetpackTV & the late but great Fetti Gz onto some of the big hip hop blogs. Fetti was from my city, and I ended up collaborating with Jetpack TV for a few videos too. Fetti Gz and 33Static had a few songs together already so I was hip, but JetpackTV was really what put me on to his music. 33Static was actually the very first artist to be on the JetpackTV presents series. In one of my latest articles I talked about me and Statics trip to NYC for JetpackTV. When I picked him up to go to New York at 8am, he hadn’t slept. He was in the studio all night and made 5 completely versatile tracks. All heaters too. He was hungry all 2021 and in 2022 he’s going to prove he wants it more than your favorite rapper. 

This Lawrence, MA artist has a voice that is crystal clear. When when you hear his crisp tones, over the east coast drill beats it’s a surprisingly hard yet beautiful production, every time. Some of my favorite songs of his so far are First Day Out & I’M UPSET.

Despite being in and out of jail since 2018, 33STATIC has been one of the most consistent artists in Boston. Even though he’s currently locked up and awaiting trial, he’s still hustling every day and working hard from a musical standpoint. He had used one of his phone calls to hit me up, to figure out our next move. I got to ask him a few questions about where his head is at while he’s locked up. 

DAVE: When do you think you’ll be out ?

33: I don’t have a exact date yet

DAVE: What do you wanna tell your ppl in Lawrence, Massachusetts?

33: Only you can keep yourself out of bad predicaments nobody else can do that for you. 

DAVE: Do you have any upcoming releases? Any videos to go with it?

DAVE: What do you wanna tell your fans / supporters?

33: I wouldn’t want any other supporters other than the ones I have now. Coming from such a small city, to have a fan base like the one I have now is crazy.

DAVE: What’s going on in your head right now? You making music in there?”

33: Just Thinking positive because they can’t hold me forever and with the support I have I couldn’t be anymore grateful. Where I come from there is only three options either dead, in jail, or smart.
