In His ELEMXNT
Your New Favorite Rapper
A new lion in wolf skin is walking among us. The type of rapper that can eat any competition and is destined for success. ELEMXNT is by far one of my favorite current artists that I stumbled across and genuinely an all around super star. It’s no secret that Philly has been a huge influence over the years regarding music waves and big name artists; Now we have the next big thing ready to put on for Pennsylvania. A personal favorite from Elemxnt’s catalogue would easily be his recent release, “Guilty.” He makes it clear in this track that he knows his value with rap and he isn’t afraid to slit throats over his art.
The Dark Knights of Rap
On June, 29 2022, Elemxnt released a collab EP (Dark Knights) with fellow artist, “F Breezio.” Between the high energy and great chemistry, these artists display a great showcase of their talent and originality. I asked Elemxnt a few questions to better understand him and the point he wanted to make with this project.
When did you discover your talent ?
- Tricky question, because when I started making music, deep down I knew the talent wasn’t there yet but it was still so fun writing raps and recording songs. Around 10 years old is when I really knew I wanted to be an artist.
What is something you’re the most proud of with your music ?
- Im proud of my versatility and ability to do every aspect on my own. I record, mix and master 100% of my music; Self produce 95% of it as well. I’m proud of the fact I still have the same drive for this music thing that I did when I was 10 years old.
What is your new project about ?
Any stories or bars on it that might get overlooked but mean a lot to you ?
- The purpose of this project was really to add to the catalogue for me and my bro F Breezio. We are at the point in our careers where we just need to get everything out so we can be seen by the right eyes.
Where do you think hiphop stands right now ?
- I feel like the “hiphop is dead” statement has always been a total myth. Great hiphop is everywhere, literally everywhere. What’s mainstream at the moment doesn’t define what hiphop is or the condition of it for me.
Who would you like to collab with ?
- The last couple of months, I’ve had the chance to collab with a couple of rappers I became mutuals with on TikTok. I still definitely have some people on my list. I always say the day I get a song with Akintoye & Dom Vallie, I know I made it. They have for sure been my biggest inspiration when it comes to making a rap career from TikTok.
Sum It Up
As soon as I found Element, I made it known to him that he will make it. I genuinely see the light in this Philly kid and can’t wait to see him shine. Tap in to his recent EP and lock in before it’s too late.
