Chicago rapper Tookey Is in Her Zone with The Release of Her New Visual “Patek”
Chicago-born femcee Tookey is “the most confident [she’s] ever been in [her] career so far,” and the release of her new visual “Patek” is one to show for it. Rapping alongside YSL member Dolly White, Tookey speaks on the high standards she’s set for herself as well as her glamorous lifestyle, stepping into both her sexy and savage sides. “All these haters wanna watch, I protect / Couple bands, give me more, never less / You ain’t never seen a shooter in a dress,” she raps atop the song’s bold piano riff.
The unsigned artist just started doing music 3 years ago, but her life was shaped by the art growing up, her parents being HouseHead DJs. 3 years out and Tookey plans to go far, continuing to compete with herself, sink into who she is at her core, and climb to heights bigger and better than ever before in the process. “I know how not to get sexual in my lyrics but deliver sexiness,” she describes her musical style. “I know how to not rap tough but show my savage side.” Stepping into her gleaming presence in “Patek”, it’s clear it’s only up for Tookey from here.
