Check in With North Las Vegas Rapper Wave MMLZ as He Enlists Chuck Brilliant For Their Thrilling New Video, “ETA”

Over the last half decade, rising Las Vegas rapper Wave MMLZ has made a name for himself through sheer work ethic and clever posturing when it comes to releases and general output. Serving as the lead drummer for popular band Imperial Tide, he also moonlights as one of Sin City’s most respected producers and emcees. After releasing his well-received 2022 project, Alexander Decatur, Wave has spent most of the last year promoting it in different ways. Looking to keep that energy alive, he checks into our pages with the new video for a standout track from that project, “ETA.”

Produced by Wave himself, “ETA,” is a chilling, eerie record that simultaneously makes the listener anxious, but also bop their head. Creating a sense of uneasiness and eeriness that play well with the anxious and paranoid rhymes brought forth from Wave and featured artist Chuck Brilliant, the production perfectly sets the table for the duo, while also accentuating the video. Directed and shot by Keene Dadian, the visuals find Wave and Chuck hunched in front of an illuminated backdrop and a vintage phone booth, absolutely creating a menacing aesthetic. Utilizing quick cuts and ditching heavy effects, the video does a brilliant job of complimenting the equally chilling feelings brought to you from the record itself.

Take a look at the video below and get familiar with Wave MMLZ.
