Carolina Producer Philly Is Stepping into 2022 To Takeover
From South Carolina up to North Carolina, Philly has consistently been one of Carolina’s hardest workers.
I covered him earlier this year and since then, he has come closer and closer to becoming a household name among producers. I personally remember when I went to an Upstate, SC studio and hearing a Philly beat. One of the guys at the studio said it was crazy how many artists recently starting coming to the studio with a Philly beat or wanting a Philly beat.
Stepping into 2022, Philly has quite a few placements with some stand outs being: Soulja Boy, PG RA, Soldier Kidd, Dave From the Grave, Slime Dollaz, Pierre Bourne and Sosshouse’s newest artist, J Billz, and many more. Not only has he manifested this success, he also worked for it. A lot.
These days, his YouTube doesn’t have as many beats posted, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t working. He is often seen cranking out beat after beat and collaboration after collaboration, which in my opinion is another reason why he is become so successful so soon. Any producer on the grind can find it useful to take a look at how Philly has started and put their own spin and branding on it. One thing is for sure though, you will have to work.
If you missed the first time I covered Carolina “super producer” Philly, on Hood Saviors, check it out here. He is definitely someone who is going to do more working than talking and his credits and collaborations to date have shown for it.
