Caal Vo Slides on “No Kizzy”
Caal Vo has been bubbling underground for a while now, and he recently released his single titled “No Kizzy.” Caal demolishes this beat that has a loup, a lead counter melody, and bass that’s lower but similar to the one on Autumn!’s “Portrayal.” Caal Vo seems serious and remains monotone for the hook of the song. He talks about how intimidating he is and explains that everything he says is true. In his verse, Caal uses the melodic voice that listeners have heard in many of his previous songs. The song flies by because of its high tempo and is perfect for leaving on repeat.
Caal Vo’s “No Kizzy” is a nice change compared to his other songs. He has perfected the use of his melodic voice in all different kinds of production styles, but he sticks strictly to his bars on this song. He proves he is a well-rounded rapper in “No Kizzy” because he effortlessly keeps up with the beat, creates energy for his listeners, and spits some bars simultaneously.
