Bayymack Drops New Album, “Ihatehollywood”
Bayymack is back with the release of his most recent project “Ihatehollywood”, which gives listeners a look inside the rapper’s thoughts after his move to Los Angeles.
The Tempe, Arizona native is in a reflective mindstate on his third album, using a wide range of styles to speak on his own disillusionments and the environment he found himself in after leaving home. On the intro track “nikki”, which also served as the album’s lead single, he pens a love letter, and “lifesnotfun” showcases his diversity with a track that is hyperpop to the core.
The tracks on “Ihatehollywood” are brief, with the longest being just over two minutes, but each does a great job of capturing the young MC’s energy and swagger. The album closes with a bonus track, a remix of the fan-favorite “control” from his project “unamused” which features David Shawty. Other than that, the project has no features and was mainly produced by frequent Bayymack collaborator Kashmovere.
“Ihatehollywood” is proof that the sky is the limit for Bayymack. He’s already co-headlined his first tour with Lil Raven, and with collaborations with D Savage and BIGBABYGUCCI also under his belt, be sure to stay on the lookout for one of Arizona’s hottest artists.
